Eden Mill aim to lead the way for sustainability within the drinks industry in Scotland, innovating in every area of the brand and business, culminating in their state of the art, carbon neutral distillery in St Andrews.
The new gin range introduces a new chapter. We moved away from our iconic ceramic bottle to a greener solution — custom designed, 18% less glass and made in the UK.
The new gins span two ranges: Heritage and Premium. The Heritage range is rooted in place – a flavour of St Andrews, while the Premium range takes inspiration from all over the world. While Original, Love and Golf have been established leaders of the craft gin world for years, the other products are brand new recipes from the master distillers at Eden Mill.
Eden Mill are natural storytellers. We’ve worked to create a complete narrative for each product, complete with illustrations by Ella Ginn that contain hints of botanicals, legends, tall tales and rich history.
To create depth and a richness of colour across the range, we reverse printed the back labels in the product colour. This refracts through the textured glass, framing the white label and creating a strong shelf presence.
We’ve worked with Eden Mill since 2015 on their brand identity, positioning and packaging across gin, whisky and beer. Together, we’re proud to have broken records and won multiple awards along the way, most recently winning Excellence in Branding, Best Brand Experience and Product Development Team of the Year at the 2020/21 Scottish Gin Awards.
