Homeless World Cup is a charity dedicated to supporting and inspiring people who are homeless to change their lives. Their global network brings together nearly 70 grassroot organisations that use football to tackle homelessness and social isolation. The focus of their year-round activity is the Homeless World Cup itself; a landmark international street football tournament. We’ve been working with the Homeless World Cup since 2021, refining and evolving their brand and rebuilding their website.
In March 2024 they celebrated the release of the Netflix movie The Beautiful Game, directly inspired by the tournament which features prominently. The film boasts a stellar cast including Bill Nighy as the manager of England’s homeless football team, who is taking his players to Rome with the hope of being crowned champions of the Homeless World Cup. Starring alongside him is Micheal Ward, who plays a talented striker who could give them a real chance at winning. The Beautiful Game is a film about second chances - an uplifting, empowering watch for all the family.
