The spookiest month of the year has come and gone, and we spent much of it talking about…unicorns!
"The Turner prize is now open to the public and reviews have been pouring in over the last month."
You may have seen that our clients Perth Museum invited LGBTQI+ artists to create a piece of art in the theme of ‘Hunting the Unicorn’ this month. That submission deadline has now passed, and we’ll have to wait a while to see the works produced - but we’re looking forward to it. We’ve been working on something related for a while now - all will become clear when Perth Museum opens its doors on Easter Weekend 2024.
In other news, the Turner prize is now open to the public and reviews have been pouring in over the last month. Whilst the reviews tend more towards discussing the nominees rather than the branding (for shame!), we will be releasing a full case study on the thoughts behind the identity in the future. For more right now please check out our instagram.
We’ve been working with Dundee-based videogame company Hyper Luminal Games to create a website for their new boutique publishing arm, Little Nook. The Little Nook website recently launched ahead of their first game release early next year - you can read a little bit about the work behind the shop front here, and pop Pine Hearts on your wishlist on Steam here.
Our clients Energy Pods debuted their new brand at the Education Estates Conference this month too. Energy Pods work alongside initiatives like GenZero to create sustainable modular school buildings for a fossil fuel free future. We love working in this sector, and have branded several companies which are working towards a greener society - you can read more about Sustainable Glasgow, Transforming Timber and BE-ST elsewhere on this site.
Eden Mill are attracting some attention in whisky circles for their Art of St Andrews 2023 release: One More Dram had something to say about it, as did Planet Whiskies. We’re delighted to see their annual expression and collaboration with local artist Jill Calder is being well received - head here for more information on the genesis of this whisky.
We’ve been pitching for a few more jobs this month, so will hopefully have good news to share soon. We’ve just begun work with the activist collective Enough! Scotland and will have more to say on that before the end of the year. And finally, pumpkins. Here they are.
