May 2022

It’s the first signs of summer in the studio as the mercury rises and the annual leave starts to take over the calendar!

“We completed the programme for the Edinburgh International Book Festival ahead of their launch on the 8th of June.”

May was a whirlwind of deadlines and the gearing up of several other projects to boot. We completed the programme for the Edinburgh International Book Festival ahead of their launch on the 8th of June - the first printed programme since 2019, so it was a lovely one to work on again. We’re working on a whole new brand for a shared service centre, which involves a new name, so we can’t mention much about them until the launch - but for those in the know, a new name has been developed and the identity isn’t far behind. Watch this space for updates.

“Our brand for decarbonisation knowledge hub HeatSource launched in May.”

We’ve also been working away diligently on our brand for EP, a charity consultancy company, which will launch this summer, as well as websites for INSP and the Homeless World Cup, which are due to launch in July.

Our brand for decarbonisation knowledge hub HeatSource launched in May, and we’ve also broken ground on another decarbonisation project in collaboration with Heriot Watt University, so we’ll be giving updates on our upcoming brand identity for IDRIC here this summer as well. HeatSource showed off their new brand at the All Energy event at the SEC in early May and launched their new website the same day.

In other studio news, we bade a fond farewell to our project manager Shauna this month. She will be missed! On a related note, we’re looking for new team members, so if you think you’re a fit for our Account Executive role, get in touch at info@tangentgraphic.co.uk.

Finally, studio co-founder Andrew welcomed his fourth (fourth!) baby this month - technically in June, but prior to this writing of this post, so I’m including it. Welcome to the team, kid!
