Sustainable Glasgow is a partnership formed by leading organisations from the commercial, academic and charity sectors, alongside local government.
“We created a brand identity that emphasises the urgency to start acting; time slips away as you scroll; change happens before your eyes.”
We established a brand and website as a permanent resource for Glasgow’s residents and businesses to keep up with with climate conscious developments in the city. Described as a partnership which aims to position Glasgow as a leading city in the development of the green and wider economy, the site will be in use during and long after COP26, helping to achieve the goal of making Glasgow one of Europe’s most sustainable cities; improving the quality of life in the city, boosting the economy and protecting the environment.
We created a brand identity that emphasises the urgency to start acting; time slips away as you scroll; light colours descend into dark colours; change happens before your eyes.
One of the major aims of Sustainable Glasgow is to encourage businesses and employers in the city to join the Sustainable Glasgow Green Economy Hub Charter; a commitment to take action within their own organisations and sectors to contribute to a green recovery and radically reduce the city’s carbon emissions. It’s also an information hub on a wide range of projects, from the installation of LED street lights and electric car charging points to the creation of renewable energy schemes and green jobs.
