To celebrate our lucky 13th year working with the Edinburgh International Book Festival, we’re giving away tickets to what will definitely be a memorable evening!
“We were the two people least suited to investigating anything, but with the right drug combinations we could be whoever we had to be.”
As well as designing the annual campaign for the Book Festival each year, Tangent is also a major sponsor of the event. This comes with some perks!
Every year we pick an event to sponsor, and this year we picked Frankie Boyle: Post-Referendum Thrills, where the man himself will discuss his debut novel Meantime and the state of the world as he sees it, no doubt!
Set in Glasgow in the wake of the 2014 Independence vote, Boyle's first crime fiction foray is as sharp, satirical and dark as you'd expect, and we can't wait to find out what inspired this latest chapter for one of Glasgow's greatest comedians.
The event, which is sold out, takes place at 8.30pm on the 17th of August at the Book Festival’s Central Hall venue. We'll be there, and you could be too.
Rules for entry:
— Leave a comment on our Frankie Boyle post on either channel, and tag a friend you’d bring to the show - this will get you entered into a very high-tech spreadsheet we’ll use to pick winners...
— Everyone who tags and comments will be entered once, but if you tell us what your favourite Book Festival campaign of the last 12 years is as well then you get two entries.
— If your comment makes us laugh, you get three entries!
We'll draw the winners the week before the event and let the lucky few know how to collect their tickets from the Box Office too.
